How do we store and hold personal information?

We store most information about you in computer systems and databases operated by either us or our external service providers. Some information about you is recorded in paper files that we store securely.

We only keep your personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary, taking into consideration our need to answer enquiries, provide products and services, etc. This means that we may retain your personal information for a reasonable period after you stop using PS or the Print Speak customers. When the personal information that we collect is no longer required, we destroy or delete it in a secure manner, in accordance with best practice for document and data destruction.

PS will not disclose your personal information to any third party that wishes to use it for direct marketing purposes, unless we have specifically informed you and you have given us specific permission to do this.

Where PS does disclose personal information to a third party, any such third party must at all times provide the same level of security for your personal information as PS does, and, where required are bound by a legal agreement to keep your personal information private, secure and to process it only on the specific instructions of PS.

These developers are currently in the USA, India and Romania but we may use other developers from time to time in other countries.

We will use your personal information to offer you products and services we believe may interest you, but we will not do so if you tell us not to. These products and services may be offered by us, our related companies, our other business partners or our service providers.

You can always opt out from receiving marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each such communication and following the prompts. Please note your opt out preferences are specific to the particular Print Speak Customer from which the communication was sent, if your organisation is serviced by multiple Print Speak Customers, you should treat these as separate organisations and opt out accordingly where applicable.

When opting out from receiving marketing communications please include the following in your email to privacy@printspeak.com.au:

Please note that your opt-out is individual and we may have multiple contacts within your organisation who will continue to receive marketing communications until which time they opt out. If they wish to do so as individuals, they will need to opt out from the customer/s from which the communication originated.

Access to and correction of your personal information

You may access or request correction of the personal information that we hold about you by contacting us. Our contact details are set out below. There are some circumstances in which we are not required to give you access to your personal information.

There is no charge for requesting access to your personal information, but we may require you to meet our reasonable costs in providing you with access (such as photocopying costs or costs for time spent on collating large amounts of material).

We will respond to your requests to access or correct personal information in a reasonable time and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we hold about you remains accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading.

Please note whilst all care is taken to ensure the correctness of your personal information, each PS customer’s business is independently owned and operated and PS cannot guarantee compliance by all customers with this Privacy Policy, although PS will attempt to require customers to comply.

If you have a complaint about the way in which we have handled any privacy issue, including your request for access or correction of your personal information, you should contact us. Our contact details are set out below.

We will consider your complaint and determine whether it requires further investigation. We will notify you of the outcome of this investigation and any subsequent internal investigation.

If you remain unsatisfied with the way in which we have handled a privacy issue, you may approach an independent advisor or contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) (www.oaic.gov.au) for guidance on alternative courses of action which may be available.
